These issues feature Frank Miller‘s first artwork on Daredevil, preceding his Daredevil run by 3 months. The issue was seen as an introduction of the young Frank Miller’s artwork to readership in preparation for what would turn out to be his career setting run on Daredevil (Daredevil # 158-191).
The story continues from the previous issue in which Daredevil helps Spider-Man cope with his new found blindness. Spider-man uses his spider-sense to help Daredevil track down the Masked Marauder. Meanwhile, Carrion the clone of Professor Miles Warren is hunting down Peter Parker, and breaks into his apt. in search of him.
Spider-Man and Daredevil continue to battle the Masked Marauder and Tri-Man. As the tide turns and they have finally won, Spider-Man is relieved to find his vision returning. Spider-Man heads back to his apt. to find the place the center of a crime scene. He is offered a place to stay by Hector Ayala (the White Tiger).
Later at ESU, Parker discovers Carrion amidst an attack with Hector. Interrupting Carrion, Parker fights the creature. But Carrion is strong and bests Parker as the story continues into the next issue.
