About: G.I. Joe and Transformer crossover originally occurred in the mini-series from 1986. However by the early 90’s, Transformers had ceased publication as a comic and cartoon. As a re-introduction, Transformers “Generation Two” made its first appearance in the main series of G.I. Joe from issues #138-142. After the crossover story, the transformers began their second volume produced by Marvel. Transformers: Generation 2 ran for only 12 issues but continued to guest feature G.I. Joe.
