This comic was only available as a mail in offer through Wizard Magazine. It contains several vignettes that take place during and after the film Star Wars: Episode I. This is the Enhanced Gold Foil version, which was available only as incentives for subscriptions and renewals, and not available as the mail-in option. Each comic book came with a Certificate Of Authenticity (COA) signed by Gareb Shamus, CEO of Wizard Magazine.

The Local council decides to help after discovering the Luke Skywalker is a friend of Obi-Wan Kenobi, who aided the people during the Clone Wars. This issue is one of the few stories that reference the Clone Wars. George Lucas purposely kept out any speculation on what the Clone Wars were from Marvel Comics and the general public for possible development in his films, which eventually took place in Episodes I-III.
