About Notes: Moon Knight # 1 is the Origin of Moon Knight and the first appearance of the Egyptian God, Khonshu. This issue completely reformatted Moon Knight to his more modern concept. Moon Knight # 1 also debuts the villain, Bushman.

About: Marvel Preview was a comic produced by Marvel in the magazine size format. The interior art is done in Black, White and Grey tones. Because of its categorization as a magazine, the series avoided censorship issues and was able to be much more violent and adult oriented. Marvel Preview was a series that revealed the Punisher’s origin, early Moon Knight stories, as well as the introduction of Star-Lord and Rocket Raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy.
