About: This is original production art for the Phantom Daily Newspaper Strip by George Olesen and Keith Williams.
The Phantom was created by writer Lee Falk (1911-1999). The Phantom has been featured in movie serials from the 1940’s, Radio shows, Cartoon series, and a modern Live Action film in 1996. The character was one of the major influences of Batman, whose creators heavily borrowed from the Phantom.
The newspaper strip began publication in 1936 and is still published today.
This artwork is the original production artwork and is one of a kind. The artwork comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity COA hand signed by Elizabeth Falk from the Lee Falk Estate.

This comic was obtained directly from the Saul Kessler estate and comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity COA.
