Jonah Jameson throws an engagement part for Betty Brant and Ned Leeds. The party is interrupted by a blackout caused by the Shocker. The story concludes with an homage to Amazing Spiderman # 33 by Steve Ditko, which sees Spiderman trapped under wreckage as water builds up around him.
