Signature Notes: This Half page Superman Newspaper Comic Strip dates to 1946 and has been signed by both Superman creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.  This comic strip came from the Jerry Siegel estate. During the 1970’s-80’s, Joe Shuster would sign these comic strips to give to Jerry Siegel to sell at conventions. He did this because Jerry Siegel was the writer and would otherwise have nothing to sell.

Condition Notes: Excellent Condition; Paper quality is good and not brittle! Great Color!

Superman # 1 (1974) SIGNED by Creator Joe Shuster

Superman # 1 (1974) Treasury Edition C-38 is hand signed by Superman Creator Artist, Joe Shuster (1914-1992). Shuster signed the comic in blue pen right underneath the Superman logo.

This is a RARE signature to obtain, as Joe Shuster made very few convention appearances in only a 10 year span. Unlike his writing partner, Jerry Siegel, Shuster never had any autograph deals for numbered editions. This makes his signature extremely collectible and highly sought after. This after all is the creator of Superman!

Joe Shuster’s signature on this comic book has been verified to be authentic by the Brooklyn Comic Shop.

The comic comes with a Certificate of Authenticity C.O.A.

CGC 6.0 Superman # 100 SIGNED by Creator Jerry Siegel

Superman (vol.2) #100 is hand signed by Superman creator, Jerry Siegel, in Limited Edition through Dynamic Forces, Inc. This copy is numbered 130/180 and comes with the matching numbered Dynamic Forces Certificate Of Authenticity.

The comic has been professionally graded by CGC (Certified Guaranty Company, Inc) and was awarded a 6.0 FINE condition grade. This is a solid mid-grade for a RARE autographed book.

Jerry Siegel (1914-1992) is regarded as the main creator of Superman. As a writer, he partnered with artist, Joe Shuster, who created the look of the character. They began developing Superman in 1933 and pitched the comic to many publishers before seeing print in 1938. Action Comics # 1 (1st Superman) went on to become the highest selling book at the time and continues to be the most valuable comic to date.

Superman Special # 01 SIGNED x3 Walter Simonson, Geoff Darrow

This 64 page story was created by the legendary Thor team artist/writer, Walter Simonson and John Workman, letterer. It was the very first comic to advertise the upcoming Death of Superman storyline. In the story, a duplicate Superman made of sand emerges to confront Superman. Created by Lex Luthor, the Sand Superman fights Superman and in the process destroys much of Luthor's supply of Kryptonite.

This comic is signed by Walter Simonson (Artist), Geoff Darrow (Pin-Up Artist), and Mike Carlin (Editor). All signatures were obtained by a Brooklyn Comic Shop representative. Comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity (C.O.A).

Amazing Spider-Man # 306 Superman Homage McFarlane Artwork

This issue's cover features a homage to Action Comics #01, the first Superman comic book by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Here, Spiderman takes the place of Superman. The story features two jilted love interests of both Peter Parker in the Black Cat, and for Mary Jane in Jonathan Caesar. The story also sets up the Chameleon as the villain for next issue, Amazing Spiderman # 307.
