Superman (vol. 2) # 075 Collector’s Edition Signed by x5 creators
This is the final part of the Death of Superman storyline, which sees DC Comics’s iconic superhero, Superman fall in battle to the villain Doomsday. Doomsday first appeared in Superman: Man Of Steel # 17 as a cameo, making his first full appearance in the next issue. He was conceived by creator Dan Jurgens as a juggernaut to rival Superman’s power,which set Doomsday apart from many of Superman’s villains at the time. Doomsday’s introduction lead immediately into the Death of Superman storyline with little reference to the character’s origin.
Signature Notes: This comic is signed in a silver metallic Deco paint pen by five members of the creative team that worked on the Death of Superman storyline. They include: Mike Carlin (Editor), Dan Jurgens (Writer/Artist of Superman # 75), Jerry Ordway (Writer for Adventures of Superman), Louise Simonson (Writer for Superman: Man of Steel) and Jon Bogdanove (Artist for Superman: Man of Steel). All signatures were obtained by a Brooklyn Comic Shop representative at the Connecticut ComiCon 2015 and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity (C.O.A).
