Video Gaming Tournament Comes to Brooklyn Feb. 17 2018!

Brooklyn is getting its first Retro-Video Gaming Tournament! The tournament is sponsored by Aviator Sports and Event Center and features a 16 Bit Sega Genesis Tournament including NBA Jam, MLB and more! In terms of attendance, Aviator is expecting a thousand people at least, and has plenty of space to accommodate even more in their 175,000 square foot sports venue.
The tournament will consist of five 32-person tournaments with a retro sports theme. All 4 major sports will be represented (NBA Jam, MLB Slugfest, NFL Blitz, and NHL ’94) along with one fighting game (WWF No Mercy). The expo portion will take place in Aviator’s spacious field house.
The tournament will have live commentary by Arda Ocal as well as a panel discussion with Patrick Hickey, Jr. the author of “The Minds Behind The Games.” Other events include a Live Auction that contains autographed sports, movie and comic items including Star Wars signed pieces as well as items signed by Marvel Comics Legend, Stan Lee!
The expo also includes a variety of vendors specializing in Sports Memorabilia, Cards, Video Games. Here you can meet vendors to Buy, Sell, or Trade games, systems, or parts.
