Story Notes: Thor is in trouble during a battle with Durok in Washington DC. Balder seeks out the Silver Surfer and pleads with him to aid Thor. The Silver Surfer agrees to help Thor, arriving just in time to revive the fallen hero from death. The Silver Sufer assures Thor that he will take care of Durok, so Thor can return to Asgard.
Meanwhile on Asgard, Loki is set to marry Lady Sif and has forbidden Thor from crossing the Bi-Frost Bridge. Thor arrives and is confronted by Heimdal, who is compelled to follow Loki’s orders. After besting Heimdal, three Storm Giants emerge to take on the God of Thunder. Thor battles his way to the palace to find Lady Sif preparing for her marriage to Loki. Thor is surprised by Loki who captures Thor and forces him to change to his weaker alter ego, Donald Blake.
The story is illustrated by John Buscema and inked by his brother, Sal Buscema. Both men produced the artwork for the original Silver Surfer series (1968-1970).
